Privacy Policy — Ad Hoc Driver

Ad Hoc Logistics, LLC ("Ad Hoc Logistics," "we," "us") operates the Ad Hoc Driver mobile app for our drivers. This policy explains what information the app collects, how we use it, and your choices. The app is intended for the company's active drivers and is not directed to the general public or to children.

Information we collect

• Account & profile information you provide: name, email address, phone number, and professional credentials needed to operate (driver's license/CDL, TWIC, and medical certificate numbers and expiration dates).
• Location information: while you have a load in progress, the app records your device's location (including in the background) to log check-in/check-out and to calculate the miles you drive for your pay. Tracking runs only during an active load and stops when the load is delivered.
• Documents and photos: photos or files you capture or upload as proof of pickup and delivery (BOL, POD, and related documents).
• Device information: a push-notification token used to send you load and dispatch notifications.

How we use information

• To assign and manage loads, record trip status, and verify pickups and deliveries.
• To calculate mileage and driver payouts.
• To meet safety and DOT/compliance requirements (e.g., credential expiration).
• To send operational notifications (new load assigned, reminders).

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising or to track you across other companies' apps or websites. Information is used within Ad Hoc Logistics for dispatch and operations and is shared only with service providers that help us run the app (for example, Apple's push-notification service) and where required by law.

Data retention & security

We keep information for as long as needed to operate the business, meet legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information.

Your choices

You can update your profile in the app and manage location and notification permissions in your device settings. Disabling location may limit features such as automatic mileage and check-in.

Children

The app is for professional drivers and is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the "Last updated" date above.
